پنجاب میں بھی چینی کی زیادہ سے زیادہ قیمت 190 روپے فی کلو ہے، جبکہ اسلام آباد میں سرکاری ریٹ کے مطابق یہ 172 روپے اور راولپنڈی سمیت پنجاب کے کئی شہروں میں 173 روپے فی کلو ہے۔ایک سال قبل چینی کی اوسط قیمت 146 روپے 75 پیسے فی کلو تھی۔ حکومت نے 15 جولائی کو ایکس مل قیمت 165 روپے فی کلو مقرر کرنے کا اعلان کیا تھا، جبکہ اسلام آباد میں ریٹیل قیمت 172 اور پنجاب و کراچی میں 173 روپے فی کلو مقرر کی گئی تھی۔
