باجوڑ کی قیامت: ایک باپ، تین جنازے، اور ایک سوال — آخر ہمارا قصور کیا ہے؟

یہ واقعہ خیبر پختونخوا کے ضلع باجوڑ کے تحصیل ماموند کے علاقے “ایراب” سے تعلق رکھنے والے ایک غمزدہ شخص کا ہے۔ ان کی زندگی محض ایک دن میں یکسر بدل گئی — ایک ایسا دن جو ہر ذی شعور انسان کے ضمیر کو جھنجھوڑ کر رکھ دیتا ہے۔
گزشتہ دنوں ان کے گھر پر ایک گولہ آ گرا، جس کے نتیجے میں ان کی بیوی، ایک کمسن بیٹا اور ایک چھوٹی سی بیٹی شہید ہو گئے۔ آج جب ان تینوں کی جنازہ گاہ میں صفیں بچھی تھیں، وہ بوڑھا باپ اپنی بیوی کے جنازے کے سرہانے کھڑا تھا، اور اس کی زبان سے نکلنے والے الفاظ ہر آنکھ کو نم کر رہے تھے۔
“جن کے لیے فکر تھی، آج وہ میرے سامنے کفن میں لپٹے ہیں”
وہ کہنے لگا:
“میری بیوی پہلے سے شدید بیمار تھی، میں انہیں علاج کے لیے پشاور لے جا رہا تھا۔ راستے میں بار بار یہی خیال آتا رہا کہ کہیں ایسا نہ ہو کہ وہ واپس نہ آ سکے۔ اگر خدانخواستہ کچھ ہو گیا تو میرے بچوں کا کیا ہوگا؟ وہ اپنی ماں کے بغیر کیسے جییں گے؟”
لیکن وہ کہتا ہے کہ اللہ نے ان کی دعائیں سن لیں۔ ان کی بیوی پشاور سے علاج کے بعد صحت یاب ہو کر واپس آ گئیں۔ چند دن سکون کا سانس لیا، خوشیاں منائیں، لیکن وہ خوشی زیادہ دیر قائم نہ رہ سکی۔
اچانک شروع ہونے والا آپریشن، اور ایک خونی حملہ
اسی دوران علاقے میں ایک بار پھر آپریشن شروع ہو گیا۔ اور پھر وہ لمحہ آیا جو اس شخص کی پوری دنیا اجاڑ گیا — ان کے گھر پر ڈرون سے حملہ کیا گیا۔
اس حملے میں ان کی اہلیہ، ننھا بیٹا اور ایک بیٹی موقع پر ہی شہید ہو گئے۔ حملہ اس قدر شدید تھا کہ لاشیں تک شناخت کے قابل نہ رہیں، جسم کے ٹکڑے ٹکڑے ہو گئے۔
جنازے کے موقع پر وہ شخص اشارہ کرتے ہوئے کہنے لگا:
“جس بیوی کی بیماری کی وجہ سے میں ان بچوں کے لیے پریشان تھا، آج وہی بچے اپنی ماں کے دائیں اور بائیں کفن میں پڑے ہیں۔ اب میں کیا کروں؟”
یہ کہتے ہوئے وہ زار و قطار رونے لگا۔ آس پاس موجود لوگ بھی خود پر قابو نہ رکھ سکے، فضا میں ایک خاموش ماتم بکھر گیا۔
ایک سوال جو پوری قوم سے ہے
یہ صرف ایک باپ کی کہانی نہیں، یہ پورے قبائلی علاقوں کی اجتماعی حالتِ زار کی نمائندگی کرتی ہے۔
اس بوڑھے شخص نے آسمان کی طرف ہاتھ اٹھا کر فریاد کی:
“اللہ میرے وطن پر رحم کرے۔ ہم ذہنی مریض بن چکے ہیں۔ ہر واقعہ قیامت سے بڑھ کر ہے۔ ہر دن ایک نئی لاش، ایک نیا جنازہ، ایک اور برباد ہوا گھر۔ بے گناہ لوگ شہید ہو رہے ہیں، باپردہ مائیں اور بہنیں خیموں میں رہنے پر مجبور ہیں۔ کس جرم کی سزا دی جا رہی ہے ہمیں؟”
یہ سوال محض اس شخص کا نہیں، ہر قبائلی، ہر متاثرہ فرد، ہر درد مند دل رکھنے والے پاکستانی کا سوال ہے۔ لیکن بدقسمتی یہ ہے کہ ان سوالات کے جواب دینے والا کوئی نہیں۔
آخر کب تک؟
یہ وقت ہے کہ ریاست اور متعلقہ ادارے سنجیدگی سے ان مظلوموں کی فریاد سنیں۔ اگر ریاست اپنے شہریوں کی جان و مال کا تحفظ نہیں کر سکتی تو پھر اس نظام کا جواز کیا رہ جاتا ہے؟
یہ وہ وقت ہے جب ہمیں صرف مذمتی بیانات سے آگے بڑھنا ہوگا۔ جب تک بے گناہوں کے قاتلوں کو انصاف کے کٹہرے میں نہیں لایا جاتا، جب تک ان علاقوں میں امن، تعلیم اور بنیادی انسانی حقوق کو یقینی نہیں بنایا جاتا — تب تک یہ آہیں، یہ جنازے، اور یہ سوالات ختم نہیں ہوں گے۔
Students benefit from a fully funded package covering tuition fees, health insurance, travel costs, and a monthly living allowance of approximately €1,000. Programmes such as the Erasmus Mundus in Advanced Ship Design and the European Master in Renewable Energy in the Marine Environment (REM Plus) combine academic training with hands-on industry projects. Applications usually close between October and February.
DAAD Postgraduate Scholarships – Germany
The DAAD provides comprehensive funding for international students pursuing marine technology, shipbuilding engineering, and offshore structures at German universities. Support includes full or partial tuition coverage, a monthly stipend (€934 for master’s, €1,300 for PhD), health insurance, and travel allowances. Many funded programmes link with major German shipyards and marine research institutes, offering valuable industry exposure.
Norwegian Quota Scheme & University Scholarships – Norway
Norway’s universities, such as the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the University of Stavanger, offer tuition-free master’s and PhD programmes in marine engineering, hydrodynamics, and ocean structures. While tuition is waived for all, some competitive scholarships also provide living allowances to cover accommodation and personal expenses. These institutions are internationally recognised for advanced offshore engineering research.
Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP) – Sweden
SISGP funds full master’s degrees in Sweden in areas such as marine engineering, maritime management, and ocean renewable energy. Awards cover tuition fees, a monthly living stipend of SEK 12,000, travel grant, and health insurance. Applicants are selected on academic merit, professional achievements, and leadership potential, with a preference for candidates who can contribute to sustainable marine technologies.
University-Specific Scholarships in Marine & Ocean Engineering
Newcastle University Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence Scholarships (UK) – Partial to full tuition waivers for MSc in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture, with additional support for exceptional candidates.
University of Strathclyde Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship (UK) – Offers tuition discounts and, in some cases, living stipends for students in MSc Marine Engineering and Offshore Energy programmes.
Technical University of Denmark (DTU) Scholarships (Denmark) – Fully funded PhD and master’s opportunities in ocean engineering and maritime technology, often linked to EU-funded projects.

The award provides a monthly allowance of €1,181, international travel, health insurance, and cultural activities. Applicants must apply through French host institutions.
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) – Doctoral Networks
MSCA offers fully funded PhD opportunities in ocean engineering, ship design, and offshore renewable energy through European research networks. Funding covers a salary, mobility allowance, research costs, and access to advanced marine laboratories. These positions are open to researchers worldwide and are often embedded in industry collaborations.
Chevening Scholarships – UK
Chevening funds one-year master’s degrees at UK universities in marine engineering, maritime management, and offshore energy. The award covers tuition fees, a monthly living allowance, airfare, and additional grants for arrival and departure. Selection is based on leadership potential, professional experience, and academic excellence.
Commonwealth Scholarships – Marine & Offshore Engineering Fields
Offered to students from Commonwealth countries, these scholarships fully fund master’s and PhD studies in marine technology, coastal engineering, and offshore energy at UK institutions. Coverage includes tuition fees, airfare, living allowance, and research-related costs. Applicants must demonstrate how their studies will benefit sustainable maritime development in their home country.
