بونیر میں بارشوں اور سیلاب کے باعث 200 سے زیادہ ہلاکتیں، کئی افراد لاپتہ
پاکستان کے صوبے خیبر پختونخوا کے ضلع بونیر میں حکام کے مطابق بارشوں اور سیلاب سے 200 سے زیادہ افراد ہلاک ہوئے ہیں۔
بونیر کے ڈپٹی کمشنر آفس کے ترجمان جہانگیر خان نے بی بی سی کو بتایا کہ کئی افراد لاپتہ ہیں جس کی وجہ سے مزید ہلاکتوں کا خدشہ ظاہر کیا گیا ہے۔
خیبرپختونخوا میں سیلابی ریلوں میں 300 سے زیادہ ہلاکتوں، انفراسٹرکچر کی تباہی اور سڑکوں کی بندش کے باعث این ڈی ایم اے نے الرٹ جاری کیا ہے جس میں سیاحوں کو غیر ضروری سفر سے گریز کرنے اور مزید لینڈ سلائیڈنگ اور سیلابی ریلوں کے خطرات سے آگاہ کیا گیا ہے۔
سیلابی ریلوں سے سب سے زیادہ متاثرہ ضلع بونیر ہے جہاں اب تک 209 ہلاکتوں کی تصدیق کی گئی ہے اور متعدد افراد کے لاپتہ ہونے کی وجہ سے اس تعداد میں اضافے کا خدشہ ہے۔
علاقے میں 1500 سے زائد اہلکاروں کو تعینات کیا گیا ہے، جن میں ریسکیو ورکرز، ڈاکٹرز، پیرا میڈکس، پولیس اور سول ڈیفنس کے اہلکار شامل ہیں جو امدادی کارروائیوں میں سرگرم عمل ہیں۔ فوج کی چار بٹالین بھی جاری امدادی کارروائیوں میں سول انتظامیہ کی مدد کے لیے پہنچ گئی ہیں۔
ریسکیو ٹیموں نےکم از کم آٹھ نامعلوم لاشوں کو دفنا دیا ہے کیونکہ ان کا دعویٰ کرنے کے لیے خاندان کا کوئی فرد زندہ نہیں ملا۔
کچھ رشتہ دار اپنے رشتہ داروں کی لاشیں لینے سے بھی قاصر ہیں کیونکہ سڑکوں کو شدید نقصان پہنچا ہے۔
جہانگیر خان نے بتایا ہے کہ ’آج تک 22 مشینیں ملبے کو ہٹانے کے لیے کام کر رہی ہیں۔‘
بے گھر ہونے والے افراد سرکاری سکولوں کی عمارتوں میں رہ رہے ہیں جبکہ 150 خیمے تقسیم کیے جا چکے ہیں اور ایک ہزار سے زائد افراد کی مدد کے لیے روزانہ کھانے پینے کی اشیا پہنچائی جا رہی ہیں۔

سیلابی ریلوں اور بارشوں کے باعث زیادہ تر یہ حادثات صوبہ کے مختلف اضلاع سوات، بونیر ، باجوڑ، تورغر، مانسہرہ، شانگلہ اور بٹگرام میں پیش آئے۔
آج کے حوالے سے تازہ اعداد و شمار تاحال جاری نہیں کیے گئے تاہم سب سے زیادہ متاثرہ علاقے بونیر میں امدادی کارروائیاں جاری ہیں جہاں بڑے پیمانے پر جانی نقصان ہوا ہے اور درجنوں لوگ لاپتا ہے۔
این ڈی ایم اے کے اعلامیے کے مطابق سیلاب اور لینڈ سلائیڈنگ کے باعث گلگت بلتستان میں سومرو پل، گانچھے، سالتورو پل، باغیچہ (سکردو) پل کو شدید نقصان پہنچا ہے۔
اعلامیے کے مطابق گلگت، جگلوٹ، گورو، نلتر روڈ، گلمت، گوجال سڑک بند ہے جبکہ بابوسر ٹاپ روڈ بھی مکمل بند ہے لہٰذا سیاح سفر سے اجتناب کریں۔
سیلاب کی تباہ کاریوں سے بچنے کے لیے نشیبی علاقوں کو خالی کرایا جائے گا: چیئرمین این ڈی ایم اے
پاکستان میں آفات سے نمٹنے کے ادارے نیشنل ڈیزاسٹر مینجمنٹ اتھارٹی ’این ڈی ایم اے‘ کے چیئرمین لیفٹننٹ جنرل انعام حیدر نے کہا ہے کہ گذشتہ برس کی نسبت اس سال مون سون کی شدت 50 فیصد زیادہ ہے۔
اسلام آباد میں نیوز کانفرنس کرتے ہوئےانھوں نے بتایا کہ بارشوں اور سیلاب کی وجہ سے تباہی کی تفصیلات بتاتے ہوئے چیئرمین این ڈی ایم اے کا کہنا تھا کہ گلگت بلستان اور خیبرپختونخوا میں امدادی کارروائیاں جاری ہیں۔
اُن کا کہنا تھا کہ بونیر، باجوڑ اور سیلاب سے متاثرہ دیگر علاقوں میں لاپتا افراد کی تلاش کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔ ان علاقوں میں موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں کی وجہ سے تباہی ہوئی، جو ہر گزرتے وقت کے ساتھ پاکستان کو متاثر کر رہی ہے۔
چیئرمین لیفٹننٹ جنرل انعام حیدر کا کہنا تھا کہ آنے والے دنوں میں بارشوں کے نقصانات سے بچنے کے لیے صوبائی ڈیزاسٹر مینجمنٹ اتھارٹیز کے ساتھ مل کر نشیبی علاقوں کو خالی کرایا جائے گا۔
چیئرمین این ڈی ایم اے کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ تجاوزات اور واٹر ویز کے اندر آبادیوں کی وجہ سے نقصان زیادہ ہوتا ہے۔ لہذا ان نقصانات کو کم کرنے کی کوشش کریں گے۔
اُن کا کہنا تھا کہ اس سلسلے میں قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں اور کمیونٹیز کے ساتھ مل کر کام کریں گے۔
