پاکستان کے زیر انتظام کشمیر میں قدرتی آفات سے نمٹنے کے سرکاری ادارے کا کہنا ہے کہ وادی نیلم کے سیاحتی مقام رتی گلی میں پھنسے 550 سیاحوں کو ریسکیو کر کے مرکزی شاہراہ تک پہنچا دیا گیا 300 سے زائد سیاح ابھی بھی سیاحتی مقام پر محصور ہیں۔
واضح رہے کہ پاکستان کے زیر انتظام کشمیر کے دارالحکومت مظفرآباد سے 80 کلو میٹر دواریاں کا علاقہ ہے جہاں سے سیاح دو گھنٹے کی پیدل مسافت کے بعد کچے راستے سے ہوتے ہوئے رتی گلی پہنچتے ہیں۔
یہ ایک خوبصورت سیاحتی مقام ہے جس کا واحد راستہ یہی ایک کچی سڑک ہے اس کے علاوہ یہاں پیدل راستے انتہائی دشوار گزار ہیں۔‘
سٹیٹ ڈیزاسٹر مینیجمنٹ اتھارٹی کے ڈائریکٹر آپریشنز سعید قریشی نے بتایا کہ ’امدادی ٹیموں نے آپریشن جاری رکھا ہوا ہے اور رات سے کسی بھی وقت آپریشن رکا نہیں۔‘
انھوں نے بتایا کہ کم از کم ’550 سیاحوں کو محفوظ مقام پر پہنچا دیا جو اپنی اپنی گاڑیوں تک پہنچ چکے ہیں جبکہ تین سو سے زائد افراد ابھی رتی گلی میں موجود ہیں ان کو ریسکیو کرنے کا عمل جاری ہے۔

لینڈ سلائیڈنگ کے باعث راستے بند ہو جانے سے سیاح علاقے سے نکلنے میں مشکلات کا سامنا ہے تاہم انتظامیہ اور مقامی افراد نے سیاحوں کی رہائش اور کھانے کا انتظام کر رکھا ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ پاکستان کے زیر انتظام کشمیر میں مختلف مقامات پر بارشوں کے باعث ندی نالوں میں شدید تغیانی اور کلاؤڈ برسٹ کے بعد لینڈ سلائیڈنگ سے کم از کم آٹھ افراد ہلاک ہوگئے ہیں۔
اسسٹنٹ کمشنر پٹہکہ کے مطابق جمعرات کی شام وادی کوٹلہ میں کلاؤڈ برسٹ کے نتیجے میں ایک ہی گھر کے چھ افراد دب گئے تھے جن میں سے بیشتر کی لاشیں ملبے سے نکالی جا چکی ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ، کلاؤڈ برسٹ کے باعث ہونے والی لینڈ سلائیڈنگ کی زد میں مزید تین مکان بھی آئے ہیں۔
